Katelyn Pritchard

Throughout high school, I actively engaged in various organizations that allowed me to contribute to my community and develop essential skills. As a member of the Technology Student Association (TSA), I volunteered and competed in STEM-based activities, aiming to inspire younger students and aspiring STEM majors. TSA's mission is to enhance personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in STEM through co-curricular activities, competitions, and related programs. Additionally, I participated in the Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) club, where I volunteered and helped spread awareness on health, safety, and wellness topics. SADD empowers and mobilizes students and adult allies to engage in positive change through leadership and smart decision-making. Furthermore, as a member of the National Honor Society (NHS), I documented and logged over 100 volunteer hours from activities such as assisting teachers after school, volunteering at food pantries, and participating in community clean-up efforts. NHS emphasizes the importance of scholarship, character, leadership, and service, and through my involvement, I was able to contribute positively to my school and local community. Collectively, these experiences have not only allowed me to give back to my community but have also equipped me with valuable skills in leadership, communication, and community engagement, all of which I continue to apply in my personal and academic endeavors.
