My name is Lisa McGovern and I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Thank you for taking the time to consider my resume for a position in your practice. I am truly excited about this opportunity as the job aligns with my professional vision and goals. Although I am a new to practice Nurse practitioner, I have been a nurse in the Critical Care setting at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the last 24 years. Over the years, I have cared for many patients who presented to the tertiary care setting because they did not have the resources to be managed or cared for in the primary care setting.
My Goal is to autonomously provide excellent, evidenced based care, and implement cost effective innovative treatments for patients and families as a CRNP in the primary, outpatient setting. I look forward to establishing a rapport with patients and families to instill trust; as well as, work-up, manage, and educate patients who have chronic or episodic illness to promote a better quality of life. I feel with excellent management, combined with evolving technology, patients can be managed in a cost effective manner, in their own community close to home.
My current position as a Clinical Nursing Coordinator/ Rapid Response nurse promotes a culture of caring, scholarship, and nursing innovation, which yields positive outcomes in providing excellent evidence based care for our patients and families. I would like to extend and implement the rich culture of nursing scholarship that I have learned over the last 24 years at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to my patients and families in the primary care setting.
Please review my qualifications and professional experiences on the attached resume. I would be honored to join your team and look forward to hearing from you in the near future
