Since I was in middle school I have been in multiple extracurriculars involving special education. I have been a helper in the special education classroom, teachers assistant for adaptive P.E, and manager of my schools unified track club. I strive to help others and work hard to make the kids are seen and herd to the best of my abilities. I found interest in this field of education because of the compassion I feel toward kids that have autism and disabilities. While I T.A for my adaptive P.E class it is my job to come up with activities to do, to get them moving and having fun! My job as manager for the Unified track team is to take attendance, record times and to make sure everyone is where they need to be. I love what I do and understand the amount of patience and care that this job needs. I communicate with other Paraprofessionals about what their day-to-day job looks like so I can better prepare myself. I understand that my little experience can be intimidating but I plan to work very hard and learn as much as possible.
