McKenna C. Hewitt

I am currently seeking a summer Internship to gain experience and knowledge in the Energy field which will better prepare me for the remainder of my college years and give me a solid foundation as I enter the professional workforce after I obtain my bachelor's degree.

I am a highly motivated and responsible individual that is goal oriented with the future of my professional career being a top priority. I am eager to obtain a position in Energy and Land Management or related field that will better prepare me for my future while also being an asset to the company for the duration of an internship. I am a hard-working person that has been very active over the past few years while participating in many school sports and clubs while holding a part time job throughout this time. I believe that my strong communication skills are an asset that will help me excel in group environments while working on required projects and tasks. I look forward to obtaining an internship where I can show my abilities to the workplace and be a positive influence on those around me.

• American Association of Professional Landmen, Marietta, Ohio, 2022, Present, Attended information dinners to discuss further petroleum tactics along with the future of the oil and gas industry., Awarded the 2023-2024 AAPL Undergraduate Scholarship.
• Society of Petroleum Engineers, Marietta, Ohio, 2022, Present, Organized fundraising events to further future petroleum engineers’ knowledge of the industry., Participated in the Eastern Regional Meeting in Wheeling to gain knowledge about the oil and gas industry and connect with professionals.
