Responsible for the 24 hour operational activities of a 56 bed nursing unit. Supervising the day -to-day activities in accordance of state and federal guidelines to ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times. Also ensuring resident, family and employee satisfaction. Administrator on call rotation ensuring all areas of compliance for the entire facility.

April 2018 to November 2019 was the RNAC for the swing bed unit, coordinated and managed patient care for the unit. Obtained authorizations, updates and safe discharges working with the insurance companies. Reviewed and accepted outside referrals. Completed and transmitted MDS assessments to CMS. Prior acted as unit Charge nurse and Staff nurse on the Medical Surgical unit as assigned. Interacted with physicians regarding patient conditions, obtained and transcribed physician orders. Read telemetry. Completed admission assessments and discharge instructions. Participated in direct patient care, medication administration and treatments to assigned patients and all other duties required according to the job description.

Coordinated all nursing care and management activities throughout the nursing home assuring that all the needs of the residents were met. Responsible for the recruiting, evaluating, disciipling and terminating nursing personnel according to the Centers policies. Implemented an effective quality assurance program and maintained compliance with all regulatory guidelines
