Security Master Plan

The Security Master Plan is a strategic initiative focused on optimizing security measures within the terminal. It includes the implementation of surveillance systems, improvements in lighting, incorporation of advanced security technologies, and enhancements to access control processes through updated infrastructure.

This project focuses on relocating the transporters' entry point to a new area while integrating automation technologies to enhance security, efficiency, and user experience. It includes the construction of a new Authorities Building, the deployment of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for automated entry, the installation of a new container weighing system, and the digitalization of the appointment scheduling system. These improvements will reduce manual intervention, optimize security, and improve traffic flow within the terminal.

This project is designed to improve connectivity between the PATSA area and the existing terminal yard by constructing new access roads, installing electrical systems, and optimizing traffic flow. These enhancements will facilitate seamless integration of the new scanner with the inspection ramp, improving accessibility for authorities and supporting future expansion plans.

This project involves the acquisition and installation of a scanner, ensuring compliance with Panamanian regulations on security and cargo inspection. The scanner will enhance inspection capabilities and support the port’s operational and regulatory requirements, improving efficiency and security in cargo handling.

This project aims to upgrade the terminal entrance by improving security, access control, and operational efficiency. Key enhancements include the installation of advanced access control systems, scanners, and surveillance cameras to strengthen security measures. Additionally, the project will expand parking capacity to over 300 spaces, improving shift transitions and workflow. The construction of the new E64 facility, featuring locker rooms, showers, a cafeteria, and recreation areas, will enhance employee well-being. Relocating operational staff closer to their work areas will further optimize efficiency, reducing transit times and increasing productivity.

Reading is a constant hobby, as I enjoy diving into books that enhance my knowledge across a range of topics. Soccer is my go-to sport for staying active and connected with friends, while hiking and swimming provide a great way to connect with nature and maintain physical fitness. Additionally, I find gaming to be a fun way to unwind and challenge myself in virtual environments.
