MOLLY CHAAR

I am a college student and member of the military with a lot of ambition. For three summers, I have worked as a camp counselor at Ockanickon Scout Reservation. There, it was my goal to ensure our campers (kids age 12-17) had the best experience they could while on the property. Moreover, I worked diligently with our admin team and carried positions of authority when it came to developing and managing programs. In the off-season, I worked at Zebra Striped Whale, where I performed well under pressure. It added to my ability to keep calm in the journey of customer service. I also worked as a server at an assisted living facility called the Birches. My experience there added to my knowledge in how to care for those who otherwise can not care for themselves. I also recently held the ranger position at Philmont Scout Ranch, where I taught scouting crews survival skills (bear procedures/mountain lion, backpacking, water purification, protecting the outdoors etc.) I made an impact on every crew that came through camp.
In 2023, I joined the military. I am currently serving in the Pennsylvania National Guard and earned a four-year scholarship with Temple Army ROTC. I train hard to maintain this position and serve my country.
