System:
• Piping and instruments match the P&ID (including the test loop).
• Connections are tight.
• Promoted a safe working environment by following established safety guidelines and protocols during all testing activities.
• In-line check valves are installed in the correct direction.
• The electrical system and connections have been verified by authorized electrical personnel, and the appropriate lockouts have been removed.
• Electrical feed is locked out/tagged out with a Test Technician Lock.
• The machine is mounted securely to the floor and is stable.
• Head(s) and crankcase(s) are filled with the proper oil.
• Flywheel(s) rotate freely by hand two revolutions in the proper direction.
• Belt guard(s) are securely installed.
• All necessary cooling connections are made and the system is filled.
• No loose parts or tools are left on the machine.
• Repaired faults, reassembled products, and completed additional tests.
Instrument air is connected, and AOVs are in the proper position.
• Check for proper system operation by applying low-pressure nitrogen or clean, dry shop air to the supply (suction) inlet; flow should be noticed coming out of the system discharge port. If no flow is detected, repair the cause of obstruction.
• Testing instruments (gauges, flow meter, etc.) have been calibrated and are not due within 14 days.
• Attach the test loop to the machine, and ensure the connections are secure.
• Perform gross leak testing and repair using nitrogen.
• Vacuum system.
• Introduce testing gas, and perform the flow meter zeroing procedure.
• Developed and implemented test procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
