After graduating from York County School of Technology from the Precision Metal Machining Program. I Signed up for the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for a 6 year contract. I spent Three Months at Fort Jackson Columbia South Carolina for Basic Training. Went in November 9th 2015 and completed and graduated on February 12th of 2016. Where I traveled to Fort Lee in Petersburg Virginia from February 13th 2016 to May 16th 2016 for the Mos.(job) training as a 91 Juliet which is a water Purification Specialist. Which I diagnosed, repair, and operate several water purification machines. Was previsously trained up at Fort Indiantown Gap Pennsylvania where I, am currently cross training three Mos's. Which are 91 Charlie ( Air Conditioning and coolant specialist), 91 Delta ( Generator operator and Mechanic ) and a 91 Lima( Heavy construction equipment mechanic). I have been cross training with these Mos's for the past five years now. As soon as I got settled with the unit I found my first Machining job With Eagle Machining in New Freedom Pennsylvania where I worked with them as a CNC machine operator for two years. Both learning and understanding the use of the Mills and little bit of the lathes. Understanding basic machinist tools( dial calipers, Micrometers, vertical measuring gauges etc...). I worked with that company for two years until I left the job in July of 2018. And went to the other machine shop AIM precision machining where I started on July 14th 2018 till May 1st of 2020 I would still like to continue on to be a CNC Machine operator or keep learning/advancing new techniques with different style CNC machines. Motivated Machinist adept at completing projects on time using professional-level skill and trade knowledge to demonstrate superior performance on job sites. Enthusiastic CNC Machinist eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Clear understanding of job and work training in CNC Machining. Motivated to learn, grow and excel in Precision Metal Machining. Also to motivated to learn new trade skills in the cnc/ manual machinists occupation.
Job Duties were to assist heavy equipment operators with checking dirt/stone grades perfect measurements before new roads were prepped before being setup to be black topped was shown how to use lock level how to use and setup GPS system for newer pieces of heavy equipment to show how much dirt or specific stone needed to be laid out for flatness.
