Summary

My vision for kids ministry is to have consistent committed individuals, myself included to foster connection and relationships with the next generation. I would encourage teamwork with volunteers to reach the goal of connecting kids with a relationship with Christ. Foster a welcoming environment for kids and their families. Have a smooth transition from the different age groups that encourage deeper connection with Jesus. Meet the kids where they are and what will be the most effective way to reach them in their individual faith journey. Encourage and equip families to journey together in milestone events as the children grow, with hopes that it would be a natural progression because of the family of God that will be helping and surrounding them through the process. Regular check ins with families throughout the week to foster the same connection that is felt on Sunday's. Create an environment where volunteers continue to feel valued and loved for their service in kids ministry.
