• Performing truck and equipment check at beginning of every shift to ensure all equipment is stocked and functioning appropriately
• Responding to emergency calls and interfacility transports in a prompt, safe manner

• Performing CPR, airway management, splinting, wound care, blood glucose assessment, and administering Basic Life Support (BLS) level medications as indicated in the PA Department of Health (DOH) protocols to appropriately treat patients

• Performing triage and obtaining vital signs for all patients in a prompt and efficient manner
• Reviewing patient's medical record to ensure all information is accurate and up to date
• Performing point of care testing including blood glucose, EKG's, COVID and influenza testing, strep testing, and urinalysis
• Communicating with health care providers regarding patient's condition and test results
• Administering intramuscular injections for vaccines and medications

• Monitored vital signs, and immediately reported any changes in patient condition to nurses
• Performing phlebotomy and sending blood work to lab for evaluation
• Performing point of care testing such as EKGs, bladder scanning, and blood glucose
• Obtaining specimens for lab evaluation including urine, fecal, and sputum samples
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living including utilizing the restroom, walking, bathing, shaving, and changing clothes
• Answering call lights for assistance
• Preparing patients for discharge by ensuring all peripheral IV's and cardiac monitor have been removed, and assisting patients with gathering their belongings
