I began working on an organic farm when I was 11 years old. I have learned many skills throughout the time I have spent time on the farm such as operating heavy equipment, construction jobs, mechanics, and farming. Through this job I have not only learned to be a hard worker but I have also learned to be discipline while working individually, I have learned to work with a team, I have learned to be safe and responsible while working through a big task and I have learned to keep myself composed under pressure. This job has shaped who I am as a person and has equipped me with many of the skills that are required to be a professional pilot.

- Actively involved in an agriculture environment learning skills such as farming, operating heavy equipment, construction, and how to solve mechanical issues.
- Through these skills I participated in planting and harvesting crops. I learned what it goes into to preparing the land for farming and how to maintain it.
- I developed mechanical skills while maintaining the upkeep and repair on equipment.
- I gained a lot of experience operation heavy equipment. Through this I learned that you need to have a strong attention to detail and you need to be very open minded and attentive about your surroundings.
- During this job I was expected to show up on time, maintain a safe environment on the job, and I was expected to consistently perform at a high level no matter the circumstance. I was taught how to work on my own and perform under pressure effectively but I was also taught to work with others and problem solve together.
