- Primary focuses of residency improvement during the year were: medical education reform, resident burnout in the wake of the COVID pandemic, and preparing for the 2025 ACGME pediatric residency guidelines update
- Medical Education Initiatives: Revised Morning Report Curriculum, Intern-Faculty "Match", Collaborative Board Review Program
- Resident Burnout Initiatives: Revised NICU scheduling and revised inpatient scheduling with less reliance on resident staffing, formation of Resident Committees, Residency "House Cup"
-Awards: Received two awards during tenure as chief resident, voted on by the residents : the Faculty Teaching Award (Resident Education) and the Barbara W Strechenberg Award (Leadership, Dedication to the Residency)
-Mentoring: Participated in Baystate Med/Peds intern-mentoring program yearly
-Current Faculty Involvement at UPenn/CHOP: Faculty facilitator for Penn Medicine's Doctoring course Current Section Leader for the Bone Marrow Transplant unit
-Protocol Development: Committee member for the development of Baystate's Ketamine for Opioid Resistant Sickle Cell Crisis Protocol
