Providing health-related services for communities across Philadelphia to attain and achieve healthy lifestyles. Serving as a facilitator at Girls Inc! located in South Philadelphia, engaging in group sessions, mentoring young girls of color, and providing psychoeducational resources on health and wellness.
Participating and engaging with local community members and supporting physical, social, mental, and emotional needs through group dance/movement therapy.
Providing care and supervision for young children between the ages of four and nine, organizing and creating curriculum plans, and promoting youth's social, physical, and emotional health through stimulating activities, and cultivating healthy communication between staff members and parents.
Coordinated group sessions as lead facilitator, developed curriculum focused on healthy body image for youth, incorporated techniques of Dance/Movement Therapy, and received supervision from principal clinical supervisor.
Selected as an Arnhold Summer Fellow and completed 60 hours of study and professional development with lead facilitators. Completed courses in early childhood education, curriculum building, and legacy within cultural dance.
