
Detail-oriented Validation Consultant with expertise in equipment validation and troubleshooting. Proven ability to ensure compliance with GxP standards and experience with working in a lab environment.
• Organize and analyze batches of water samples
• Execute all work following TNI NELAP accreditation standards
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of sample results and raw data documentation, both
electronically through the LIMS software (laboratory information management system) and
physically through hardcopy records
• Assess current department operations and assist management with implementing new processes for
improvement
• Maintain all quality control processes and quality assurance evaluation practices in accordance with
laboratory accreditation requirements
• Prepare media for various food samples for the sample prep and pathogen, primarily various broths
and agars
• Determine what media needs to be made based on media request from night before and quantity of
media left over
• Completing opening tasks in timely manner such as sanitizing lab benches, calibrating machinery,
operate masterclaves, melt agar for sample prep and begin preparing media
• Delegate tasks to other media technicians throughout the day to ensure maximum efficiency
• Operating autoclave in order to sterilize media and/or glassware
• Calibrate and dispense media into tubes as needed
• Adhering to SOP techniques and guidelines to ensure safety and quality
• Ensure there are adequate supplies in terms of sterile tools and tubes for sample prep/pathogen lab
and replenish as needed
• Aseptically pouring plates for sample prep and pathogen lab as needed
• Prepare aseptic boils for sample prep
• Prepare QC samples of media made that day including paperwork alongside it, some training in
executing QC
