Summary
I am a third generation trucker, someone for whom driving was my only job of choice growing up. I would greatly prefer not to change jobs on a regular basis, as 11 years at ABF should show. I prefer to know the names, faces, rules, routes, and rigs by heart than learn them anew. I am looking for a place I can retire from, though that’s decades away. I’m not one to argue, I don’t have the energy for childish games. I want to work, and know how to do that well. Thanks for your time.

- Build double trailer sets, pre-trip and plan routes to avoid unnecessary tolls, inclement weather, and traffic stoppages.
- To follow inbound procedures for specific terminals, including breaking down of double trailers and placing them where specified.
- Prior to driving, I worked as a yard jockey for a year at ABF.
- I also spent about seven years loading and unloading trailers with a forklift and by hand with ABF as well.
