Ability to work with efficiency and time management in mind. Being thorough and making sure all product is fresh. Being able to jump in and help with anything in the kitchen at a moments notice. Making sure station is fully set up and stocked for service.
Working primarily the pantry/pastry station on the line. Working opening shifts I would set up the entire line and make sure all of the stoves and ovens were on and heating. As needed I would work on other stations such as grill and saute, occasionally dishwashing. I was responsible for prepping all of the items on my section of the menu and completing orders as they came in.
I worked as a dishwasher working long hours and I did food prep as needed. I have experience working with banquets. I did dishwashing for regular restaurant service and for the various banquets and weddings that the winery held.
I worked on the front end overseeing the self checkout lanes as well as being a cashier. I also worked on the service desk handling costumer requests and completeing Western Union transactions.
