Work History

School of Design, DEIA Ambassador

Served as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility and Belonging Ambassador for the students and faculty in the School of Design at University of the Arts. Organized meetings with the School of Design student Ambassador, held meetings with Faculty and Students discussing DEIA&B strategies, issues and solutions, made a presentation to new faculty surrounding DEIA&B.

Interviewed and hired models for the University for use in various courses that utilized nude and clothed models. Created the system for all Admins to effectively schedule and pay models as well as supervised Admins who scheduled models for their respective programs and scheduled models for Illustration.

Along with the Illustration Program Director, act as liaison between students, faculty and administration. Duties include but are not limited to assisting in the organization of registration materials, coordinating dates, advising students, organizing and coordinating select events in a timely manner. Preparing for gallery openings, helping with installations and break down of shows, organizing and distributing student information, responsible for communicating proper programmatic and university wide procedure to students and faculty, manage a small staff of work study students, and the Model coordinator, delegating responsibilities, and organizing job duties, and keeping the Illustration Program in general and efficient working order. After the end of my Interim Program Director duties, I kept and continued some of the responsibilities gained such as organizing and submitting the budgets, continued assessment of applicants and making acceptance decisions, helping with presentations etc.

Worked with the School of Design Dean in continuing the duties of running the Illustration Program, including managing and mentoring Faculty, advising students, working on curriculum, handling budgets, played an active role in recruitment taking care of portfolio reviews and assessment of applicants, making acceptance decisions, making presentations to potential and interested students about the School of Design / Illustration program and it’s coursework, and any other duties that pertain to managing a program.
