Dedicated and experienced firefighter with 15 years in the fire and emergency services, serving with the department since March 2018. Currently assigned to the busiest engine company and due city-wide for all fires and rescues. Demonstrated leadership and initiative by assisting in the reorganization of the Hazmat Team, taking over the Planning Section, and managing meter calibration responsibilities.
Beyond departmental duties, I continue to expand my skills and service as a Confined Space Rescue Technician, working primarily at nuclear power facilities where I integrate rope rescue, hazardous materials, and radiation safety expertise. I also serve as a part-time firefighter with Wilson Borough and volunteer with Palmer Township Municipal Fire Department, where I frequently lead training evolutions and mentor newer members of the fire service.
Medal of Commendation, For actions taken in the successful rescue of two trapped firefighters after a pancake collapse at a dwelling fire.
Life saving award, for the successful use of a tourniquet on a patient that was run over twice by a garbage truck.
Successfully wrote and applied and received over $100,000 in Grant funding for the department.
