
Student at Penn State University who has experience in teamwork, leadership, community service, executive, and time consuming positions. Is able to handle multiple different tasks at once while keeping a motivated and positive attitude. Always open to constructive criticism and bettering oneself in a variety of different ways and constantly looking to grow. Is able to take on leadership positions while also being able to be a part of the team and making everyone feel included and supported.
- Made sure my team was focused on and off the field, ranging from knowing the plays, to eating healthy, to even watching film on the other team before each game
- Helped my team stay level headed during the games and to try as hard as they could until the final whistle
- talked with our coaches about which players needed help the most and made sure those players received the help they needed
- played a leadership role by setting examples for the team on things like correct attitude, good work ethic, etc..
- Brought together the team by uplifting team chemistry and making it feel more like a family than a team
- Helped ensure a clean environment for my community and others in my area by going around with others, picking up trash, and correctly disposing of it
- Managed trash pick up dates and times
- Ensured each member of the club was well informed on what the club expected from them, and when and where to be for our events
- Scouted out different areas around me to see which places could use our help the most
- helped raise money through fundraisers, bake sales, and other events in order to donate to homeless shelters and/or orgs that contribute to feeding the hungry
- Made baked good and went out and bought food from stores in order to donate to the club so the food could go to those who need it
- Showed up to every event in order to show my willingness and determination to this cause
- Had to write a series of different essays about being a military child and how that has impacted my life as I become an adult
- Essays were then reviewed by a board who after extensive look throughs, decided my essays were worth of the scholarship award
