Attended Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center for Early Childhood Education between the years 2013-2016. During my time there, we were required to volunteer at various daycare centers, schools, etc. I volunteered at The Goddard School and Albright Early Learning Center. There was also a center attached to my school so once a week we would make a lesson plan to go over and teach a small group of children.
After I graduated high school in 2016, I attended Alvernia University for a year with a major in education. During my time there, I had volunteered at a church who worked with special needs children and their parents. They would let them have the church for several hours a week and they'd just come in to let them do activities together and socialize. Since I was an education major, me and a group of girls would go there once a week and get to know them. Sometimes we'd come with activities for them to do too.
