Extensive experience in firebossing primary and secondary escapeways to ensure the safety and well being of all employees which include but not limited to track and belt areas as well as performed the duties of walking weekly return airways and bleeder sections of the mine. I was also regularly assigned the task of taking a group of men and completing various types of out-by jobs, such as building walls, laying track, fixing any airway or bleeder issues, cleaning up various sections of the mine and assisting sections on belt and powers moves.
Performed the duties of a belt examiner which include firebossing the belt, finding and changing rollers, and also making splices.
Motorman - Experienced in loading and moving various types of equipment such as sheilds, scoops, feeders, loaders, tail drives long wall motor and gear cases, long wall sheer, power centers, and twin boom bolters in a timely and safe fashion. As well as, rock dusted sections of the belt and track, and sealed sections of the mine.

Including shoveling belt, setting posts in seals to ensure safe and open passages, helping the pumper run and install new pump lines, helped longwall out-by build cribs and block walls. Beltman experience in setting up and performing belt moves and safely changing rollers and making belt splices. Thorough experience laying track and fixing broken rails, installing switches, and recovering rail on the longwall.
Section - Performed various jobs on the miner section that include a loader operator, shuttle car operator, bolting off the miner and also assisted in retrieving tubes and keeping cables hung properly.
Experienced in helping with longwall out-by work in various areas such as building cribs and walls, spotting supplies, setting cans, and preparing for power moves. Also, helped with laying track, fixing broken rails, installing switches, and recovering rail on the longwall.
