  • The system is equipped with 4 pumps connected in parallel in the 8 inch pipe system
  • The work was done in a chemical tanker vessel and the result was a 50% increase in the effectiveness and performance of the pumping system

  • Replacement of a pneumatic variable pitch propeller angles control devices of a Liaeen C.P

  • Both, the elements and the pipes of the control system of angles were collapsed and corroded, which caused the propulsion system to work erratically and in an unsafe manner
  • The whole system was removed and replaced by precision electronic elements (servomotors + drive control + gear boxes + shafts)
  • The program was designed so that the angles will automatically vary to predetermined positions, or manually with the use of a Joystick
  • To increase safety and maneuverability in case of loss of electric power, a backup
  • UPS of 10 Kva was installed, which allows the vessel propulsion system to continue in operation for more than three hours after the loss of power source
  • The maneuverability and operability of the ship in which the job was done increased considerably and all the problems related to this topic were corrected

  • Rehabilitation of Tug Santa Maria after it has partially sink and stayed long time out of services

  • Both main engines and generators was disassembled and overhauled
  • All pumps were reconditioned
  • After two months of hard work the tug boat was ready to operate.
