Staff Nurse Anesthetist. Perform all anesthetics required at all sites including liver and kidney transplantation, cardiac and off-site (EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, MRI, Bronchoscopy and GI Lab). Participate in full call which includes both regular and liver transplant call. Precept student nurse anesthetists. Orient new employees to the anesthesia department and clinical environment.

• Staff nurse anesthetist. 21 operating rooms providing a wide variety of surgical specialties including cardiac, transplant, neurosurgery, thoracic and robot-assisted surgeries. Many off-site services (Cath Lab, MRI, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, pediatric proton beam therapy, etc.)

• Same duties and responsibilities as my current position with VAPHS.
• Administered anesthesia for diverse surgical procedures at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
• Monitored patients' vital signs throughout anesthesia administration and recovery stages.

• Staff Nurse Anesthetist. Accountable for a variety of patient populations and anesthesia locales ranging from neonatal to geriatric. Proficient in MAC and general anesthesia. Extensive experience with trauma, transplant and cardiac anesthesia. Provide maximum flexibility by giving anesthesia to all hospitals within the health system as staffing needs change. Credentialed and familiar with at least 9 different hospitals with the system. Frequent collaboration with nurse anesthesia students in the clinical setting.
