Student with excellent critical thinking skills, taught at an hands on independent school made to teach students how to work without step by step instructions. I have experience working with kids as well as adults. I also developed strong customer-service skills by regularly communicating with parents, updating them on their child’s progress, answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping them choose the right class level. In addition, I assisted with welcoming and signing up new students, which taught me how to represent the program professionally and create a positive, helpful first impression for families. As a volunteer/sailing instructor I would do small tasks, such as preparing activities, help get boats ready, and other small things like retrieving certain items. I would also teach kids how to sail one on one, this helped me develop my leadership skills. This ability was also improved through community work by doing jobs for my neighbors. These jobs include manual labor, like raking leaves, cleaning, and smaller tasks like watering plants, feeding birds, hanging pictures, etc. And with my drivers license I was able to act as a chauffeur to help one of my older neighbors by driving her around.
