XSIG Researcher, Gettysburg College, 2022, XSIG student researcher for Dr. Kazuo Hiraizumi in the Ishii Genetics Lab. Performed gene editing CRISPR-Cas9 machinery to knock out dipeptidase genes in Drosophila melanogaster. Laboratory techniques used included PCR, gel electrophoresis, preparing agarose gels, western blotting, DNA and RNA extraction.
