• Safely execute the production schedule coordinating the appropriate personnel responsible for both offline and online setup and startup of extrusion lines.Communicates with scheduling as needed to optimize line time output; accounting for safety, KEITEKI and customer service.
  
• Ultimately responsibility for all extrusion operators – Hold others accountable for Safety, performance, damage to tooling/equipment and recognize gaps for improvement.
• Directly train or coordinate training of other operators on all Extrusion Lines and products/sizes.
• Organize the Extrusion Department for cleanliness and efficiency maximizing 5S performance.
• Work with Process Technician and Engineers to improve Safety and increase OEE.
• Responsible for organization and 5S of the tooling setup and storage area.
• Primary point of contact with Supervisor, Scheduling and other depts.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without direction.
• Strong in Excel, Word, M3 and Outlook(Email and Calendar).
• Good at interfacing with AEP Ext production team members and people outside of department.
• Strong Mechanical Skills with tools, cleaning methods and die handling.
• Proficient in unit conversion.
• Strong organization and 5S skills.
• Proficient with tooling and department documentation.
• Familiarity with test methods and standards.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative without direction.
