Summary

Growing up, I always have had a knack and desire to help others. With this desire, I have looked for many job opportunities that are within the field of helping others. When I was able to work I began to work in customer service within Shoprite while in high school. Going into college, I’ve always had an interest in the medical field, my father being a PA and Aunt being a Nurse were both very inspirational in this interest. I decided to go onto the path to become a physical therapist. While that is a phenomenal profession, my interests shifted into the field of nursing after I began to work at Temple Hospital: Jeanes Campus as a Patient Escort. This job has allowed me to observe and interact with nurses throughout the hospital on many different units. I am now in school for nursing and am looking for a new step. Being a Patient Care Technician is what a believe would be a perfect opportunity to be more hands on with a profession similar to nursing while pursuing my education
