- I currently serve as an 8-year veteran patrol officer with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. While serving the city of Pittsburgh, I patrolled multiple high-crime areas. I handled domestic violence investigations, narcotics investigations, VUFAs (Violation of Uniform Firearms Acts) and various other criminal investigations. I made 120 arrests from patrol duties and follow-up investigations. I authored and executed numerous search warrants for phones, vehicles, houses, social media, IP addresses, and third-party communications. I conducted interviews with victims and suspects, presented photo arrays for criminal identification, and prepared case files for criminal prosecution. Additionally, I testified in preliminary and criminal proceedings.
- Additionally, I completed a rotation in a plain clothes detective capacity, where I managed and investigated multiple cases to include non-fatal shootings, hit and run incidents, narcotics investigations, and sex crimes. I worked closely with the Allegheny County Police and the Attorney General's office to execute arrest and search warrants. I completed a rotation for nighttime impairment, focusing on impaired drivers. I am a part of the cities Special Response Team (SRT) that responds to civil unrest and special events. During my time with SRT I have been assigned with a team to help clear out crowds and monitor protests during civil unrest. I am assigned as a grenadier which my responsibilities involve working and assisting team leaders along with using less lethal munitions and riot control agents when necessary. This role has included working and communicating with team members to complete tasks in a safe and efficient way.

- I received certification and training through the Pittsburgh Police Training Academy. I completed courses focused on vehicle search and seizure, traffic patrol and drug interdiction, vehicle inspection and regulation, Instrument Operator DataMaster, and interview and interrogation through the Institute for Law Enforcement Education (I.L.E.E.). I completed a Field Training Officer course, allowing me to guide and train new officers. Additionally, I completed Detective’s training and I am awaiting assignment to an open position.
