Volunteer Experience

  • House of the Cat Rescue, Founder and President, A registered 501(c)3 non-profit 100% volunteer based rescue organization that focuses on helping homeless cats and kittens in Philadelphia & surrounding areas by finding them safe placement indoors with fosters, providing appropriate vetting, and placing them into thoroughly screened adoptive homes to ensure a life off of the streets and out of the city shelter. I also organize all aspects of the organization from arranging veterinary appointments, screening adoption applications, managing all financials, fundraising, and coordinating with our in person adoption center partnership (a local nonprofit cat cafe).
  • Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Volunteer, 01/01/19, 12/01/20, Regular volunteer at the northeast adoption center where I was primarily walking their dogs on site & providing them with much needed enrichment until that branch of PAWS permanently closed during the pandemic.
